Chateau du Basty Vin Beaujolais village blanc rosé rouge Régnié

The domain consists of 44.48 acres (18 hectares) and is situated within the communes of Lantignié and Régnié, at an altitude of 1,312.34 ft (400 meters).

The vineyards enjoy an exceptional position on east and south facing slopes of the Saône Valley in the Beaujolais region of southern Burgundy, with great views across to the distant Alps. The subsoil is granitic, sometimes sandy, sometimes stony depending on the parcels. The combination of the GAMAY grape variety and the GRANITIC soil gives fruity, spicy wines which are unique and typical of the region. The combination of the CHARDONNAY grape variety and the GRANITIC soil produce crisp and perfumed white wines.

Harvesting is always done by hand so that the grapes are put undamaged into fermentation vats.
Vinification and maturing take place in oak casks in our cellars.

The different cuvées are carefully matured and blended to produce the finest quality possible.
All our wines are bottled at the Château. We sell only the wines we produce.
